PoE camera load and NVR budget planner

Choose the camera types you plan to power and how many of each. The planner shows the load on the NVR, which PoE standard each port must support, what the cable eats and how much budget is left. It recalculates as you type.

These figures are planning estimates. Cable loss is modelled for the worst case: lowest guaranteed NVR voltage for each standard, copper resistance adjusted for temperature, two pairs carrying power for af and at, four for bt. Confirm against manufacturer datasheets and a site survey before ordering. Reference standards: IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt.
